Capcom’s Blog has announced all the new goodies in this month’s free DLC for Monster Hunter Generations.
Generations on the 3DS is a unique monster hunting experience. Four villages and several hunting areas offer plenty of culture and excitement. The August DLC pack focuses on Okami, Wind Waker and Metroid franchises. New Guild Card titles and backgrounds can be purchased by speaking to the Palico Trader. August’s Support Pack has Honey, Nitroshroom, Energy Drink, Max Potion, Lifepowder, Health Flute, Demon Flute, Armor Flute, Hunter’s Drink and Barrel Bomb L+. With all of these free extras, gathering time is cut down and hunters can spend more time in the field battling monsters!
Three new arena event challenges await the noble hunters: Slay a Nargacuga, Slay a Rathalos and Slay a Yian Kut-ku. The new Event quests that give rewards to craft the Feylne Okami, Wind Waker, Animal Crossing armor and weapons are available early for Generations. Seven new High-Rank quests and one Low-Rank quest can be downloaded and played through to obtain the rewards needed to make awesome armor and weapons for human hunters. Four Prowler Quests can be completed to obtain the scraps required for the Link, Isabelle / Resetti, Monglo and Gramdpaw Palico Sets.
The DLC packs for Monster Hunter Generations are always free. But one must earn the materials through hard work to make the special armor and weapons. Don’t miss out on August’s DLC Pack. After opening the Generations game start-up screen, choose the Download menu. Then load up your character save and speak with the various NPCs to obtain the individual quests and items.
