Moons of Madness Review – Walking Simulator of Madness

<p>Moons of Madness is a <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;watch&quest;v&equals;YkhrCJF8Y4s">cosmic survival horror<&sol;a> game that I had my eyes on for quite some time&period; It has all the right ingredients of a great cosmic survival horror game&period; Moons of Madness incorporates themes of insanity&comma; it&&num;8217&semi;s set in space on Mars&comma; and the story is Lovecraft inspired&period; It sounds like a horrifying winner&comma; right&quest;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>My <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;first-encounter-moons-of-madness&sol;">first impression<&sol;a> of the Moons of Madness was fairly high&period; A nice slow burn to introduce the characters&comma; world&comma; atmosphere&comma; themes&comma; and foreshadowing future events&period; However&comma; as time withered by me&comma; cracks of the game started to appear&period; Too many plot points were popping up&comma; the gameplay is bare-bones&comma; and the abundance of jumpscare is annoying&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Not to say that the game doesn&&num;8217&semi;t have its merits&period; The atmosphere is well done&comma; the story did keep me invested&comma; and some of the puzzles were neat&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Tragically&comma; I couldn&&num;8217&semi;t fully appreciate the atmosphere of the game because of my PC&&num;8217&semi;s graphics card was severely outdated&period; To even record footage&comma; I had to turn down the graphical quality&period; Not the games fault&comma; that&&num;8217&semi;s all mine&period; Sorry about the game&&num;8217&semi;s footage looking very bad&period; I did recently updated the graphics card and tested the game out&semi; the atmosphere is great when put on the highest setting&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><img class&equals;"wp-image-152114 aligncenter" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2020&sol;02&sol;03174244&sol;atmosphere&period;jpg" alt&equals;"nice atmosphere" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Moons of Madness would be great as a rental&period; Sadly&comma; there isn&&num;8217&semi;t&comma; so I would recommend waiting for a price drop before picking it up&period; For a more in-depth review&comma; watch the review above&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Rating&colon; 6&sol;10<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Check out our other content&excl;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>If you like this&comma; check out some of our other content like our <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;podcasts&sol;">Podcasts&comma; <&sol;a><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;opinion&sol;">Opinion pieces&comma;<&sol;a> or <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;videos&sol;">Videos&period;<&sol;a> Let us know what you think about our review in the comment section below&period; <&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
