Mortal Kombat and The Wolf Among Us To Hit DC Comics

Straight out of New York Comic Con’s DC Digitial: Download This! panel, Mortal Kombat X and Telltale’s The Wolf Among Us are hitting the pages of DC Comics in all new issues.

Coming to digital before print, Mortal Kombat splatters people’s internal organs 25 years after the events of 2011’s reboot of the same name and before the series upcoming Mortal Kobat X. Penned by Shawn Kittelsen and drawn by Dexter Soy with covers by Ivan Reis, you’ll get to look at the mortal damage January 2015. Its video game counterpart, Mortal Kombat X, releases in April 2015.

Meanwhile, Fables will be getting its own prequel based on Telltale’s game series and in turn, based on the Fables comic book series, The Wolf Among Us sees Bigby on the streets of Fabletown before the events of the main series. Written by Matthew Sturges and Dave Justus with art by Steve Sadowski, Travis Moore, and Shawn McManus, and covers by Chrissie Zullo, Fables: The Wolf Among Us will release this December and hit print later next year.

Mortal Kombat X comes to us courtesy of Ed Boon and NetherRealm this coming Apr. 14th, 2015, landing all new fatalities on Playstation 4 and Xbox One as well as Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows for PC.

The Wolf Among Us wrapped up its first season this past July to generally positive reception with a hard copy coming to retail this Nov. 4th for North America and Nov. 7th in Europe for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
