Developer NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat X has received a brand-new trailer.

The latest trailer, which can be seen above, centers on the three members of the Cage family: Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade and Cassie Cage.

While Cassie Cage is making her debut in Mortal Kombat X, ongoing rumors and a leaked screenshot had hinted that her mother and father would be making their return to the franchise.

Sonya and Johnny will both be playable characters in Mortal Kombat X, as both are seen pulling off some of their signature moves against other fighters in the trailer.

The trailer, on the other hand, features appearances from other veteran Mortal Kombat fighters—believed to be part of the final Mortal Kombat X character roster—including Shinnok, Mileena and Kenshi.

Johnny Cage, who made his debut in 1992’s Mortal Kombat, also has one of his Fatality moves revealed, as he positions himself behind Scorpion, begins to split his chest apart with his bare hands and delivers the ultimate punchline: “Here’s Johnny!”

Mortal Kombat X begins straight after the events of 2011’s Mortal Kombat 9, with the narrative eventually transitioning 25 years into the future.

Since it was revealed at Sony’s 2014 E3 press conference, NetherRealm has confirmed that several classic characters from the franchise will be returning in Mortal Kombat X, including Quan Chi, Kano, Reptile and Raiden.

Mortal Kombat X will launch on April 14th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
