Mortal Kombat XL Edition Announced

Goro in Mortal Kombat X

It’s no surprise that arguably the biggest fighting game of 2015 is getting a re-release with all of its DLC, but NetherRealm Studios went to Twitter today to announce the Mortal Kombat XL Edition, anyways. Coming with all of the DLC that has been released for Mortal Kombat X, including characters like Predator, Xenomorph, Jason, and Leatherface, the game will also include every additional skin for characters. The gargantuan Mortal Kombat XL will be released digitally and in-stores on March 1st, 2016 for North America, and March 4th for Europe. Watch the trailer above to see a greatest hits of X-Ray kills and Fatalities.

Characters such as Xenomorph, Leatherface, Triborg, and Bo’Rai Cho are all new characters from Kombat Pack 2, which has not been released yet. The same goes for the Apocalypse Skin Pack which has not been released yet, either. Mortal Kombat X was the best-selling game in the long-running history of the series. It was also the recipient of Best Fighting Game at The Game Awards 2015.
