First multiplayer DLC released for Painkiller: Hell & Damnation

Nordic Games has announced the release of Medieval Horror, the first piece of multiplayer DLC for first-person shooter Painkiller: Hell & Damnation.

Developed by The Farm 51 and released in October 2012 for PC, Painkiller: Hell & Damnation already features multiplayer gameplay, and according to the press release, the new Medieval Horror DLC adds to this with “epic boss battles against the White Demon and Assassin Greed who was named in remembrance of an assassin, John P. Greed,” and an expansion to the game’s Survival Mode which allows players to “progress through a map in the same way they would in campaign mode while playing co-op.”

Here’s the full list of features contained within the Medieval Horror DLC:

* Expansion of the Survival mode.
* New Survival mode: Boss Audience.
* New boss and multiplayer skin: White Demon.
* New enemy and multiplayer skin: Assassin Greed.
* Environmental Weapon: Parcel Gun.
* New Tarot Card: Fear.
* 1 brand-new multiplayer map called “Inhumator”.
* 3 popular multiplayer maps (Psycho, Illuminati, Chaos) remade to the HD versions and also available in classic mode.

The Medieval Horror DLC is available to download through Steam at a price of $3.99 / £3.49.
