The original Mutant Mudds is a fantastic title consisting of retro-inspired platforming at its very best.
Originally released on the 3DS through Nintendo’s eShop we thought we had seen the last of the series for a while whilst we waited for an upgraded version to be released for the Wii U. However, Renegade Kids has confirmed through Twitter that there will be a direct sequel to the game.
Also available to play on PC, Mutant Mudds puts you in control of a young boy who’s aim in life is to travel from one side of a level to the next, surviving of course, whilst collecting optional items along the way. On the 3DS at least, the 3D effect was put to great use, as you are required to switch layers (think Little Big Planet but better) to progress through levels.
Should you be excited? Yes. Will you buy the game? Let us know!
