Seven Seas Entertainment has announced that they have acquired the license for the slice-of-life Boy Love manga ‘My Boyfriend is a Dog’ (Inukei no Kareshi) by writer/artist Kadiro and are set to release it for the first time in English later this year.
The story follows Kentarou, a gruff and stoic dogman, who can’t help but wag his tail whenever he sees his boyfriend, Inukai. Despite his stern exterior, he’s an affectionate and doting boyfriend. Along with coworker Nekomiya and his feline boyfriend Shimada, Kentarou and Inukai enjoy days filled with sappy partners and heaps of affection!
My Boyfriend is a Dog Vol. 1 will be released for the first time in the English language in October 2024 for $14.99 US / $18.99 CAN, with the series available in single-volume editions as part of the Seven Seas BL label (Boys’ Love titles). An Ebook edition will also be available on digital platforms.
