Today, Perfect World Entertainment released a dozen new screenshots for their upcoming MMORPG, Neverwinter, which can be seen below. Having been a fan of the Dungeons & Dragons and Wizards of the Coast books and games for years, I’m extremely excited for this title. Personally, I really, really enjoyed the original Neverwinter Nights, released by Bioware in June of 2002. As far as the Neverwinter series goes, I loved every minute of the story that played out over the course of the game, and played through it a couple different times. The universe that has been pieced together through the many different series of books by several different authors and visualized by the handful of video games based on these stories, is easily one of my all-time favorite fantasy universes. Neverwinter is currently in closed beta, and there is no expected release date as of yet.
