Today Nintendo announced a special Pokémon edition of the regular-sized (small) New 3DS, with special face plates and games to be released next month.
The New 3DS Pokémon bundle includes: the system, two pre-installed games (Pokémon: Red & Pokémon: Blue), and two sets of faceplates which each depict art from the original Red & Blue games and will be sold in stores beginning February 27th. This bundle is being released by Nintendo to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Pokemon.
In addition to releasing the New 3DS Pokémon Bundle, special Pokémon products like toys and figures will be available for purchasing this year. A new website has been created for this occasion and features fan photos, pictures of limited edition products, and news regarding the anniversary.
Nintendo is also making a Mythical Pokémon available through the Nintendo Network or at GameStop stores each month this year. These Mythical Pokémon are normally nearly impossible to get during gameplay, so now is your chance to Catch ’em All!
