Assassin’s Creed‘s main series may take a break from 2016, but Assassin’s Creed Chronicles is gearing up to introduce the second game in its trilogy of side-scrollers. Set in India, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India now has an extensive trailer to break down the game’s unique elements and demonstrate just how stylish it really is. Taking control of Arbaaz Mir, players lead the master assassin through vibrant and colourful worlds as they utilize weapons in their varied arsenal to rescue a stolen love and save the brotherhood.
The trailer above showcases a lot of similarities between the first game in the trilogy, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China. However, differences come more in how visually distinctive the environments are in India, as well as the weapons demonstrated. Arbaaz utilizes signature weapons such as the Chakram, which can be used to dispatch enemies from afar. The adjustment to the hidden blade for Arbaaz is the Trident Blade – a hidden blade modification that splits into three separate pieces.
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 12th, 2016, with a Vita version coming April 5th, 2016.
