New Detective Conan Film Info Released

The latest announcement from the Detective Conan (also known as Case Closed) franchise is proof the series is far from closing its last case with the latest news being released. Information has been released which sheds more light on the future of the series.

Previously known as Movie 21, the official title of the upcoming anime movie is Meitante: Conan Kura Kurenai no Love Letter or Detective Conan: The Crimson Love Letter. According to Crunchyroll, an announcement was made in the Japanese magazine, Weekly Shonen Sunday. The film’s story is based on the series creator Gosho Aoyama.

So far precious little has been given out as to what this storyline entails save from the setting which is going to have the film take place in Osaka. Another tidbit of information is that a new character named Momiji will be introduced to the franchise through this film. Detective Conan: The Crimson Love Letter will be released in Japan to theaters on April 15, 2017.
