<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Blanka, the Warrior of the Amazon, is heading to </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> on Feb. 20. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This announcement, which marks the second character release of Season 3, launched alongside a new </span><a href="https://youtu.be/U8PjGQuentU" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span style="font-weight: 400;">gameplay trailer</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> featuring Blanka’s brutal fighting techniques. Having first appeared in </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Street Fighter II, </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Blanka (born Jimmy) survived a plane crash over the Amazon and was quickly forced to learn how to fend for himself by fighting off wild animals and developing survival skills. Eventually, Blanka made his way to civilization where he met Sakura and Dan and developed a deep friendship with them. One day, Blanka’s mother, Samantha, saw Blanka on TV and fought to finally bring him home. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">, Blanka is living peacefully with his mother. One day, a salesman approaches Blanka and asks to make him famous by mass producing a doll made in Blanka’s likeness. According to Capcom what happens next is for players to find out in his character story mode.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Blanka’s gameplay remains just as animalistic as it was in </span><a href="https://bagogames.com/ultra-street-fighter-ii-final-challengers-review/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Street Fighter II</span></i></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> and will see him scratching, leaping, chomping and pummeling opponents as he charges his signature Electric Thunder attack. New to Blanka’s skill set is a command grab called Wild Hunt, which will see Blanka leaping forward, viciously scratching his opponent before throwing them away from him. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Blanka’s V-Skill is Coward Crouch, which is essentially a duck-for-cover that sets him up for a follow-up attack such as Wild Lift or Raid Jump. His V-Trigger I is Jungle Dynamo which turns Blanka into a spinning ball of electricity. His second V-Trigger is Lightning Beast and this form unlocks a special move called Rolling Cannon, which allows for extended combos and changing positions. Blanka’s Critical Art, Dynamic Rolling, sees Blanka slamming his opponent into the ground in a series of electric rolls. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Blanka is available Feb. 20 individually for $5.99 or 100,000 Fight Money, or as part of the Season 3 Character Pass which can be purchased for $29.99&#8211;this pass unlock Sakura, Falke, Cody, G and Sagat as they are released.
