Most of September is still within the Summer season for North America. And to keep the summer spirit lingering well past summer vacation, Nintendo of America is hosting a Nindies Summer Jam!
Indie games will be released digitally through the eShop on each Thursday in September. These titles will also be featured at the Nintendo booth at PAX West in Seattle. The games will be for the Wii U, 3DS or both! As an extra special promotion, players can purchase the games at a 10% discount during the week of the individual game’s launch.
The game developers of the indie titles will have a video on the Nintendo site that explains a bit about the development process for each of the games. The participating Summer Jam games are:
September 1: Axiom Verge from Thomas Happ Games for the Wii U
September 8: Jotun: Valhalla Edition from Thunder Lotus Games – for the Wii U
September 15: Noitu Love: Devolution from MP2 Games – for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS
September 22: Severed from Drinkbox Studios – for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS
September 29: Azure Striker GUNVOLT 2 from INTI Creates – for Nintendo 3DS
