New Nancy Drew Game Will Teach Basic Coding

From the makers of the Nancy Drew mystery PC games comes a new type of Nancy Drew game: Codes and Clues, which will release on mobile devices in Spring 2016.

The purpose of this new game is to introduce a child-version of Nancy to 5-8 year olds and let them become interested in coding through fun, simple, and interactive mysteries. Her Interactive makes it clear in their statement that Codes & Clues is intended for young children but it is fun for people of all ages, especially for those who have never coded before. Their website states that players will learn:

* Logical thinking
* Loops
* Pattern recognition
* Sequences
* Reading skills
* Algorithmic thinking
* Problem-solving techniques
In addition to the programming concepts, players will also:
Find clues within hidden object games
Review clues and evidence in Nancy’s Clue Book
Select undercover disguises and outfits for the Clue Crew

More information about the upcoming Nancy Drew game will be revealed closer to launch according to the site. Stay tuned to BagoGames for the latest game news and more!
