Today on the official Xbox website, Microsoft announced the new add on to the Xbox One exclusive launch game, Ryse: Son of Rome. Excited? Good because it is coming very soon.
The new DLC is called “Mars’ Chosen Pack” and adds new maps to the game along with a new character skin. Lastly, the DLC will feature a “brand new” co-operative mode called Survival Mode, yes we have head of this mode a million times. This version of survival not only forces you to battle with a companion against endless waves but also tasks you with keeping your health up through quick kills or “brutal executions.”
Senior Producer on Ryse: Son of Rome, Justin Robey, said of the two new maps, “These two new maps, Obelisk and Pyramid, are some of our coolest maps yet. Pyramid involves actually defending the building of a pyramid in Egypt while Obelisk is about battling it out in an Egyptian-themed village while protecting a build site. Pyramid is by far one of my favorites because you actually watch the pyramid get built. It’s a very different environment than what you have seen in “Ryse: Son of Rome.” Pyramid and Obelisk definitely add to the variety we wanted to have in the Gladiator Mode. ”
“Mars’ Chosen Pack” will be released on the 28th of February for a price of $8.99 through the Xbox Games Store.
