New Shadow of the Colossus Gameplay and Details

<p>After teasing the gaming world with the <em>Shadow of the Colossus<&sol;em> remake at E3 2017&comma; Sony showed off some more of the game at their Paris Games Week presentation&period; The remake is so much more than the slight HD bump that was seen in the <em>Ico<&sol;em> and <em>Shadow of the Colossus<&sol;em> collection that was released on the PlayStation 3&comma; and the new trailer shows how much more of a remake it is&period; Bluepoint are handling the remake and it looks like they are completely nailing it&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><iframe width&equals;"560" height&equals;"315" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;embed&sol;i-eiJHiLhOs" frameborder&equals;"0" allowfullscreen><&sol;iframe><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>First things first&comma; we won&&num;8217&semi;t have to wait too much longer to get our hands on this shiny new updated version of the game&period; It is set for a February 6th release&comma; meaning the first part of 2018 will give PlayStation 4 players <em>Monster Hunter World<&sol;em>&comma; <em>Shadow of the Colossus<&sol;em> and <em>God of War<&sol;em> shortly after&period; If you&&num;8217&semi;re an action-gamer&comma; it really doesn&&num;8217&semi;t get much better than that&period; Also&comma; it is being released at a very generous price point of &dollar;39&period;99 USD&comma; so check the pricing in your country&comma; because it&&num;8217&semi;s looking like it&&num;8217&semi;ll be a steal of a deal&period; Last and most important is how the game will run&period; On a regular PS4 the game will run at 30 fps&comma; in 1080p&comma; however on the PS4 Pro&comma; the game can either run at 4k and 30fps&comma; or at 1080p and 60fps&period; Regardless of what the frame rate is&comma; the game looks to run very smooth and the visuals are looking drop dead gorgeous&comma; in what will probably amount to a stellar remake of a PlayStation classic&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Sony already has a lot on their plate to offer players and a new version of <em>Shadow of the Colossus<&sol;em> probably wasn&&num;8217&semi;t needed&comma; but will be gladly welcomed&period; The game was a hit when it came out over a decade ago&comma; and it will be great to play the game and experience those epic fights all over again&period; As long as Bluepoint keeps up the work they&&num;8217&semi;ve been doing&comma; this looks like a title to keep your eyes on&period; Now&comma; how long until we see a remake of Ico on the PS4&quest;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;polygon&period;com&sol;2017&sol;10&sol;30&sol;16575434&sol;shadow-of-the-colossus-remake-ps4-pro-60-fps">Polygon<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
