Sony’s newest first party studio, Pixelopus, is hard at work on their first ever release which will be announced this month at E3 2014. This new developer includes a number of graduates from a game design course at Carnegie Mellon University. One of the classes was taught by Alex Lee, the executive producer at Sony Computer Entertainment America. He taught his students how to create prototypes for the PS Vita and was so impressed with the results that he offered some of them internships at Sony. These internships then turned into full time jobs at Pixelopus.
So far there has been no word on what type of game this new project will be or even what platform it is for. Being that the students were working mostly with the PS Vita it seems that their first game is most likely a handheld title but this is not confirmed. BagoGames will be bringing you all the details from Sony’s E3 2014 conference so be sure to check back to find out what Pixelopus is working on.
