A new Spider-Man game was revealed tonight during the Sony press conference, however it is not being published by Activision. No, in fact this time it is being developed by Insomniac and is exclusive to the PS4 via being published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
A short trailer was shown, and it was exactly as you’d expect: everyone’s favorite wise cracking Spidey swinging around from building to building and putting a stop to criminals all over the city.
The game, as confirmed by an interview with Gameslice, will be a fresh take on the Spiderman universe by Insomniac Games and will not be based on the upcoming movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming.
As of right now there is no release date for the game.
