(SPOILERS) During last night’s episode of Agent Carter, a new trailer for Marvel’s Agents of Shield was released. The promo, which hails the return of the series’ third season on March 8th, focuses on the continuing influx of Inhumans and S.H.I.E.L.D needs to stop them.
The highlights:
- William Sadler returns as President Matthew Ellis (Iron Man 3), appearing to task Coulson with removing the Inhuman threat.
- A brief shot of Brett Dalton as Grant Ward is shown, displaying his new look following his death and resurrection via parasite.
- A number of Inhumans are shown in a montage paired with a driving rock song, indicating that this season will might focus on the Secret Warriors storyline.
- Fitz and Simmons were noticeably absent from the trailer, although other characters such as Agent May, Mockingbird, and Lincoln make appearances.
