Next-Gen Splinter Cell is Already Being Planned

<p><em>Splinter Cell&colon; Blacklist<&sol;em>&comma; which will be the most recent entry into the long running franchise&comma; may be coming to current-gen systems in a couple of months&comma; but that doesn&&num;8217&semi;t mean Ubisoft can settle down and take some time off before the next one&period; In fact&comma; <em>Splinter Cell<&sol;em> is such a successful series for the company that they already have plans in the making for <em>Splinter Cell<&sol;em> on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Speaking to <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;arabicgamers&period;com&sol;news&sol;2206&sol;next-gen-splinter-cell-game-already-being-planned">Arabic Gamers<&sol;a>&comma; Blacklist art director Scott Lee confirmed that Sam Fisher will be returning when those fancy next-gen consoles are out and about&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;Sam Fisher and <em>Splinter Cell<&sol;em> is a big and very important franchise for Ubisoft&comma; and yes they do support the franchise&comma;&&num;8221&semi; said Lee&period; &&num;8220&semi;Obviously we&&num;8217&semi;re working very hard on current-gen systems and we&&num;8217&semi;re super excited that we&&num;8217&semi;re going to be across all platforms&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;For next-gen there are a lot of plans in the works&comma; obviously we can&&num;8217&semi;t talk about that at the moment but I definitely look forward to seeing Sam in new adventures&comma; bigger and better as we go along&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Meanwhile&comma; back here in the present&comma; <em>Splinter Cell&colon; Blacklist<&sol;em> is set to release on August 20th &lpar;August 23rd in Europe&rpar;&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&lbrace;Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;arabicgamers&period;com&sol;news&sol;2206&sol;next-gen-splinter-cell-game-already-being-planned">Arabic Gamers<&sol;a>&rcub;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
