An Amazon Italy listing that appeared online recently revealed a PlayStation/Xbox One version of Square Enix and Crystal Dynamic’s Tomb Raider. Today, Square Enix has teased that some news about a next-gen Tomb Raider may be on the horizon.
Speaking to IGN, a Square Enix rep said, “It’s so hard to keep a secret these days! We appreciate all of the enthusiasm, however we don’t have any details to share just yet. That said, we highly recommend you keep an eye on any major gaming events happening in early December.”
VGX, the new Spike TV video game awards show, is set to air on December 7th, which is an early enough date to fit the ‘major gaming event happening in early Dec.’ role. Unless some other gaming event is happening in December, however, I think it’s safe to say that VGX should be the show to tune in to.
