The battle for the world’s fastest person doesn’t always end at the Olympics every four years, where great sprinters like Usain Bolt are always looking to break a record. In football (soccer if you live in America), speed is also a great attribute for players to have, though you also need to combine that with other skills. The best football players, such as those featured on the Bookmakers Near Me, must have a combination of pace, technique, and game intelligence.
The pace is also an important aspect in the FIFA video game series, giving the player the ability to burn past defenders, sprint to score, or burst down the wingers to create some space. All these are crucial parts that every FIFA player needs in his attacking arsenal. For this reason, fast players have always been valuable in this video game series.
EA Sports has revealed its ranking for the top 20 fastest players ahead of FIFA 21 official release at the beginning of October. To the surprise of many football fans that use th-footballfans.net to get the latest news on the game, a Nigerian player managed to crack FIFA’s list for the world’s fastest players.
With a 94 pace rating, CSKA Moscow summer transfer Chidera Ejuke ranked as the 17th fastest player globally. The Super Eagles hopeful managed to earn an overall rating of 75, with dribbling being his next most valuable attribute at 78. A left-winger, Ejuke also has 69 shootings, 61 passing, 37 in defense, and 59 in physicality.
PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe was named as the world’s fastest footballer in FIFA 21, retaining a 96 pace score. The French forward joined PSG in 2018, and his outstanding skills have only continued growing. As a result, Mbappe saw his overall rating jump from 89 in FIFA 20 to 90 in FIFA 21.
Adama Traore joined Mbappe again at the top, maintaining a 96 pace stat as in FIFA 20. The Wolves powerhouse also enjoyed a five-point increase in his overall rating to 79. Bayern Munich’s speedster Alphonso Davies is the new kid on the block, earning his place alongside FIFA 20’s fastest duo. Davies managed to get a 96 pace rating and 81 overall ratings after an incredible season in the Champions League and Bundesliga.
Two more players of Nigerian descent also made it on the list for FIFA 21’s strongest players in the world. These players include Wycombe Wanderers’ Adebayo Akinfenwa and Daryl Dike from Orlando City. Akinfenwa is widely known as the strongest footballer in the EFL, thanks to his massive build and incredible physical strength.
Akifenwa has received the highest strength rating in several FIFA video game series, including in FIFA 21. In this series, the EFL beast got an overall rating 65, with a 97 strength rating. On the other hand, Super Eagles striker, Darly Dike, managed to secure a 61 overall rating and 96 in strength rating.
Following their high ratings, Ejuke, Akifenwa, and Dike are among the many players of Nigerian descent performing excellently in the international football scene. However, Ejuke remains among the few Nigerian players to crack the list for FIFA fastest players in the world.
What do you think about Ejuke’s accomplishment? Any players you wish were on the list but didn’t make the cut? Let us know in the comment section below.
