Nintendo Announces Data Packs for Xenoblade Chronicles X

<p>During the Nintendo Direct event today&comma; Nintendo took the time to promote the upcoming game&comma; <em>Xenoblade Chronicles X<&sol;em>&period; <em>Xenoblade Chronicles X<&sol;em>&comma; which is due for release on December 4th&comma; 2015&comma; will launch along with a series of four data packs&&num;8211&semi;digital packs which will decrease loading times during gameplay&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Players who purchase a digital copy of the game will not need to download these data packs&comma; as they will come pre-installed&period; Consumers who purchase a physical copy will need to download these data packs and apply them upon initial start up of the game&period; Players may pre-purchase and pre-download these data packs today to expedite the process upon purchase&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>While Nintendo made a point of stating that the data packs were &&num;8220&semi;not required&&num;8221&semi; for gameplay in <em>Xenoblade Chronicles X<&sol;em>&comma; a game which has been noted as having an extraordinarily large in-game map&comma; they were &&num;8220&semi;highly recommended&semi;&&num;8221&semi; particularly one of the four packs named Basic Pack&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Source &&num;8211&semi; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;nintendo&period;com&sol;nintendo-direct&sol;11-12-2015&sol;&num;&sol;video-1ndirect" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">Nintendo Direct<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
