The SXSW Gaming Expo is being held this year and is open to the public from March 8th to 10th at the Palmer Events Center in Texas and Nintendo has decided that it’s going to be making an appearance in booth number 500 to give gamers to chance to experience its biggest titles of 2013 as well as having a whole host of giveaways to… give away we suppose!
Both the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS will be present at the event (we have listed all the titles below for each platform that will be making an appearance) but noteworthy games are both Pikmin 3 and The Wonderful 101 which have only been playable at press-related events as of yet as well as HarmoKnight, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon and (although it is a guided demonstration) Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
What’s best about this event is that it is FREE to come along. If you are planning on making an appearance at the event the times are 12:00-20:00 on March 9th-10th although on March 8th the event is open from 15:00-21:00.
