Nintendo has gone into deeper detail of its Nintendo Zone StreetPass Relay system which was also confirmed to be rolling out “in a few weeks” in both America and European countries.

The main appeal of the system is that you can get more StreetPasses without actually walking past anyone with a Nintendo 3DS, it’s all done through passing a Nintendo Zone hotspot, of which there are thousands! When passing through a Nintendo Zone hotspot with your 3DS (remember you can leave it in sleep-mode in your pocket!) you will exchange your details with the hotspot automatically without having to click a single button. Whichever 3DS user has passed the hotspot before you will then “StreetPass” with you before having their details wiped from the hotspot and replaced with yours.

Are you excited for this new feature?
