Nintendo Launches Registration For Miitomo and My Nintendo

<p>This week&comma; Nintendo continued to show off where they will be heading in regards to the land of mobile apps&period; A website has been launched for their first app&comma; named <em>Miitomo<&sol;em>&comma; which looks to be a social experience but with games attached to it&period; The app will allow users to create a mii&comma; much like you use on the Wii and other Nintendo systems&comma; and then you use it to interact with your friends&comma; dress them up&comma; and so forth&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;99854" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-99854" style&equals;"width&colon; 300px" class&equals;"wp-caption aligncenter"><img class&equals;"size-medium wp-image-99854" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2016&sol;02&sol;03235801&sol;7c8d842ad7c0e6dc-300x300&period;png" alt&equals;"Nintendo's Miitomo&comma; launching soon&period;" width&equals;"300" height&equals;"300" &sol;><figcaption id&equals;"caption-attachment-99854" class&equals;"wp-caption-text">Nintendo&&num;8217&semi;s Miitomo&comma; launching soon&period; Source Nintendo&period;<&sol;figcaption><&sol;figure>&NewLine;<p><em>Miitomo<&sol;em> is what Nintendo refers to as &&num;8220&semi;free-to-start&&num;8221&semi; &&num;8211&semi; much like their games on console&comma; such as <em>Badge Arcade<&sol;em>&period; It appears that you&&num;8217&semi;ll be able to use the app freely and the biggest in-app purchases seem to be various outfits for your mii&period; You purchase outfits with coins so it seems that you will likely earn coins by playing&comma; but can also buy coins with your money&comma; like most free-to-play games&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Additionally&comma; with the launch of the <em>Miitomo<&sol;em> site and pre-registration&comma; you can also pre-register for a new Nintendo account&comma; also launching in March&period; This new Nintendo Account appears to be tied to My Nintendo&comma; the new replacement for Nintendo&&num;8217&semi;s former rewards program&comma; Club Nintendo&comma; which ended last year&period; When you go through the registering process&comma; which was extremely simple&comma; you can sync your Nintendo Network ID&comma; as well as Facebook&comma; Twitter&comma; and Google&plus; accounts&period; When you pre-register&comma; it states you will receive platinum coins when <em>Miitomo<&sol;em> and My Nintendo launch&comma; so it will be interesting to see how the coin reward system works&comma; and what kinds of rewards you will be able to obtain&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>To register for a new Nintendo Account you can go <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;accounts&period;nintendo&period;com&sol;register" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">here<&sol;a>&comma; and more information about <em>Miitomo<&sol;em> is located <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;miitomo&period;com&sol;en&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">here<&sol;a>&period; Hopefully they launch soon and we get a real feel for where Nintendo is going in the future&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;miitomo&period;com&sol;en&sol;">Miitomo Official Site<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
