<p>Nintendo has confirmed that it will be attending Gamescon this year after both themselves and Microsoft decided not to attend in 2012 leading to speculation about what exactly the company are going to show amidst poor Wii U sales.</p>
<p>The event will be held in Cologne, Germany this year and will run between August 21<sup>st</sup> and August 25<sup>th</sup>. Nintendo will join a long list of other publishers who are already confirmed for the show such as Bethesda Softworks, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft and Warner Bros.</p>
<p>Tim Endres, the project manager for Gamescon had the following to say on Nintendo’s decision to return to the event this year:</p>
<p><i> </i><i>&#8220;Nintendo&#8217;s return is an absolute highlight for our community, exhibitors and trade visitors from around the world.&#8221;</i></p>
