Nintendo has released its Pokedex app for iOS devices on the UK App Store. But how much will it cost to be able to have the amazing (?) ability of bringing up information of all Pokemon at the tap of your finger? £18.49… Ouch.
When you initially buy the app you are charged £1.49 and this comes with 153 Pokemon from the Unova Region (Pokemon Black & White), you can also view 3D models of the Pokemon and view information such as abilities, moves and Pokemon types from your iOS device.
So why the big jump from £1.49 to £18.49? Well each generation (of which there are four) costs £3.99 to add to your Pokedex, so if you are desperate to view Metapod as a 3D model then your going to have to pay out with your ‘harden-ed” (see what I did there?) cash.
Are you going to download Nintendo’s first steps into the App Market?
