<p><a class="zem_slink" title="Nintendo" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=34.9699694444,135.756202778&;spn=0.01,0.01&;q=34.9699694444,135.756202778 (Nintendo)&;t=h" target="_blank" rel="geolocation">Nintendo</a> has released its Pokedex app for <a class="zem_slink" title="IOS" href="http://www.apple.com/ios" target="_blank" rel="homepage">iOS</a> devices on the UK <a class="zem_slink" title="App Store (iOS)" href="http://www.apple.com/itunes" target="_blank" rel="homepage">App Store</a>. But how much will it cost to be able to have the amazing (?) ability of bringing up information of all Pokemon at the tap of your finger? £18.49&#8230; Ouch.</p>
<p>When you initially buy the app you are charged £1.49 and this comes with 153 Pokemon from the <a class="zem_slink" title="Pokémon regions" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_regions" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">Unova Region</a> (<a class="zem_slink" title="Pokémon Black and White" href="http://www.pokemonblackwhite.com" target="_blank" rel="homepage">Pokemon Black &; White</a>), you can also view 3D models of the Pokemon and view information such as abilities, moves and <a class="zem_slink" title="Gameplay of Pokémon" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gameplay_of_Pok%C3%A9mon" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">Pokemon types</a> from your iOS device.</p>
<p>So why the big jump from £1.49 to £18.49? Well each generation (of which there are four) costs £3.99 to add to your Pokedex, so if you are desperate to view <a class="zem_slink" title="Caterpie, Metapod, and Butterfree" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caterpie%2C_Metapod%2C_and_Butterfree" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">Metapod</a> as a 3D model then your going to have to pay out with your &#8216;harden-ed&#8221; (see what I did there?) cash.</p>
<p>Are you going to download Nintendo&#8217;s first steps into the App Market?</p>
