The relationship wasn’t always bad, Nintendo. Sure you made it difficult for me to spend time with my friends and often just tried solving every problem with waggling, but things were good sometimes, right? The memories we made together stomping Goombas and exploring Hyrulian dungeons made me the gamer I am today. Maybe Nintendo is truly sorry that it drove me into the arms of another console, and with the Switch, it’s making an effort to shed its old-fashioned, fuddy-duddy image to prove that it’s still cool and hip. Maybe it’s time that I took Nintendo back!
