North American Nintendo gamers are going to have a lot to be excited about next month. The Splatoon 2 edition of the Nintendo Switch will be available for purchase on September 8 exclusively though Walmart. Previously, this bundle was only available in Japan and Europe.
The North American bundle includes: a download code (not the physical cartridge) for Splatoon 2, the Switch console (dock, cords and Joy-Con grip), a themed carrying case, and the neon pink and neon green Joy-Con controllers. The themed carrying case is black with embellished images from the Splatoon franchise with a neon pink border and a green zipper. The entire bundle will be sold for $379.99.
In addition to the announcement of the Splatoon 2 edition bundle, Nintendo released info regarding the next Splatfest competition. The next Splatfest is taking place in September 1-2. Players will be given a choice of which side they want to fight with in the online Turf War battles. There are two superpowers to choose from: flight or invisibility. More information is promised to be released soon and BagoGames will be covering it as it’s announced.
