Maybe it’s not big news, but there are 2 Valentine’s Day/Weekend-themed events being put on by The Big N happening February 13th through 15th; explanations below:
National StreetPass Weekend – Valentine’s Edition
From Feb. 13-15, you can get up to six StreetPass tags from other Nintendo 3DS users from more than 29,000 Nintendo Zone hotspots across the U.S. and Canada. 
This is a chance for you to collect Mii characters from new locations and help you with your puzzle panels in the Puzzle Swap game, or help in other StreetPass Mii Plaza games. You can also use this opportunity to enhance StreetPass-enabled games such as Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire or Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS.

Maybe a little less about playing video games, but rather, visit Play.Nintendo.com/Valentine to share some digital Valetine’s Day cards with that special someone.
