<p>According to a recent interview, Shigeru Miyamoto has said that Nintendo has already started pitching around ideas for future generations of handhelds..</p>
<p>&#8220;I really feel like I&#8217;m satisfied with the 3DS hardware as it is. I feel like it&#8217;s the best for this generation,&#8221; he told IGN when quizzed on the recent 3DS XL rumor.</p>
<p>&#8220;What we&#8217;re thinking about right now is probably going to be for a future generation of handheld,&#8221; he went on to reveal.</p>
<p>IGN says that Miyamoto did emphasize that there is plenty to still be done with the 3DS and 3D gaming. He also dismissed the suggestion of a revised 3DS with a built-in second analogue Circle Pad.</p>
