Today is the week to get games and systems for a cheaper than usual price and Nintendo is joining in on the ‘reasons to be thankful’ by detailing several of their own Thanksgiving deals. If you were in the market for a new 3DS/XL, this week may be your best chance to get one for a lesser price.
I’m not sure if it’s still the Year of Luigi, but our other Italian plumber is getting his own bundle than brings together a Cobalt Blue 3DS and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon for $169.99, starting on Nov. 28th. Other deals include the recently released 2DS, which will be sold at Walmart for $99.96 (Nov. 28th) and the 3DS XL at Target for $149.99 (Nov. 29th).
“This year, there is a dizzying amount of affordable Nintendo options for any holiday shopper looking to stock up on fun gifts for family and friends,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “And if there is ever a question of why shoppers should choose Wii U and Nintendo 3DS this holiday season, the answer is simple:Because it’s Nintendo.”
The Wii U and 3DS eShops are also having character specific deals throughout November. Until the 28th, you can get select Mega Man titles for $3.49, then, between the 28th and December 5th, certain Mario titles will go on sale.
Finally, if you’re still looking for Nintendo products when December begins, you can pick up a copy of Nintendo Land for $59.99 that will come packaged with a Luigi-themed Wii Remote Plus controller. Maybe it still is the Year of Luigi.
