No Man’s Sky Officially Delayed Until August 9th

<p>It&&num;8217&semi;s been a couple stressful days since Kotaku reported on sources which told them that <em>No Man&&num;8217&semi;s Sky <&sol;em><a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;kotaku&period;com&sol;sources-no-mans-sky-delayed-1778797365">would be delayed<&sol;a>&period; Of course&comma; no one wanted to believe it&comma; but today Sony <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;kotaku&period;com&sol;its-official-no-mans-sky-delayed-to-august-1779236658">confirmed with Kotaku<&sol;a> and also <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;playstation&period;com&sol;en-us&sol;games&sol;no-mans-sky-ps4&sol;">changed the release date on the store&&num;8217&semi;s official page<&sol;a> for the game to an August 9th release date&period; <em>No Man&&num;8217&semi;s Sky <&sol;em>was originally intended to be released on June 21st&comma; right after E3 week&period; The delay pushes it back seven weeks from its original release date and closer to the end of the summer&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>One of the sources which notified Jason Schreier of Kotaku about the delay was a GameStop employee who reported that they had received marketing materials for the game&period; Those materials claimed a June 21st release date&comma; but employees were notified to cover that date up with a &&num;8220&semi;Coming soon&&num;8221&semi; label because the release date was no longer true&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>No Man&&num;8217&semi;s Sky <&sol;em>is one of my most anticipated games of 2016&comma; and I know there are a few others here at BagoGames that are very excited about the title&period; Hello Games&comma; who previously worked on the <em>Joe Danger <&sol;em>games&comma; are venturing into extremely ambitious territory with their space exploration title&comma; and we&&num;8217&semi;ll have to wait until August 9th now to see whether they succeed or not&period; Chances are we will see more of <em>No Man&&num;8217&semi;s Sky <&sol;em>at E3 2016 as a part of Sony&&num;8217&semi;s conference&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;kotaku&period;com&sol;its-official-no-mans-sky-delayed-to-august-1779236658">Kotaku<&sol;a>&comma; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;playstation&period;com&sol;en-us&sol;games&sol;no-mans-sky-ps4&sol;">PlayStation Store<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
