The raids have been the most interesting component of Destiny, despite being relatively exclusive to end-game users. However, those Destiny players excited for a new raid in Destiny: The Taken King will have to wait a bit before they get to extinguish the new class of enemies, the Taken. The Taken King will not be launching with its raid included, and instead will be made available after release.

According to The Taken King’s director Luke Smith, the King’s Fall raid is going to be released eventually, and there are plans in place for when it will come out. However, Bungie is not announcing when that will be. Keep in mind that when Destiny first launched, it did not have The Vault of Glass raid until a little after its launch. King’s Fall will follow suit most likely as it would probably to allow new users to level up more, and try out the other raids before everyone spearheads the new one. If this expansion has indicated anything, there will be a lot of new content to delve into before worrying about a raid.

Destiny: The Taken King expansion launches on September 15, 2015.
