Noctis from Final Fantasy XV will be a Playable Fighter in Tekken 7

After the recent news from NetherRealm Studios that Injustice 2 will be getting a fighter pack that includes the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the trend of most fighters having more cross-promotional DLC, Bandai Namco has announced that Tekken 7 will also receive a cool new fighter from outside the franchise. Noctis Lucis Caelum will be accepting a friend’s request and making his way to the popular fighting series as DLC in Spring 2018. You can watch a trailer for the reveal below, which debuted at the Tekken World Tour Finals.

Noctis was the main protagonist in Final Fantasy XV, last year’s long-awaited entry into the seminal RPG series. What’s great about his inclusion in Tekken 7 is that he is still wielding his Engine Blade and appears to have plenty of moves tailored to how he fought in FFXV. Based on the trailer, it also looks like there will be a stage centered around the Hammerhead garage that fans of last year’s RPG will be very familiar with. You can even see the rest of Noctis’ crew in the background.
