Today at Nokia World, Nokia revealed the company’s first Windows RT tablet, the Lumia 2520.
We are looking at a Windows 8.1 RT tablet that is powered by a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU, outfitted with a 10.1-inch, 1920 x 1080 650nit screen made out of Gorilla Glass 2. The Lumia 2520 includes a 6.7-megapixel rear camera with Zeiss optics and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Finally, the tablet will come equipped with LTE.
Those interested will be able to purchase the Lumia 2520 in either a red/white glossy finish or cyan and black matte finish when it becomes available later this year for $499. Nokia also showcased its Power Keyboard accessory for the Lumia 2520, which promises to add an extra five hours of battery life to the tablet’s 11 hours, as well as two USB ports. The Power Keyboard will retail for $149.
