Nvidia has officially announced that the Nvidia Shield is in full production and will begin shipping on July 31st.
Last month, Nvidia made the difficult decision to delay the launch of SHIELD due to a mechanical issue that they found in their rigorous testing process. The SHIELD was originally scheduled for a release on June 27th. Since then they have been working non-stop to put SHIELD through its paces and ensure it meets the highest quality control standards in the industry.
