Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee is coming to the Nintendo Switch! Microids and Oddworld Inhabitants (partners in the development of the game), made the announcement. Oddworld Munch’s Odyssee Coming to Switch

Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee is the third game made by Oddworld Inhabitants and the second chapter of the Oddworld Quintology, following Abe’s Oddysee. The game’s first release dates back to November 2001 for Xbox.

Afterward, it went to Steam in December 2010. Then, it moved to the PlayStation 3 in December 2012. The PS Vita saw the game in December 2014.  Mobile users on iOS and Android got the game in November 2015. Finally, the game came to Mac in January 2016.

Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee consists of cooperative gameplay. In it, the players control Munch and Abbe. Both characters are unique and have their own special powers. Players can also use power-ups to empower their abilities and make them cooler.

This release will bring a graphic improvement to the game, along with dozens of different interactions. There will be a “frustration-free” gaming system, which features limitless lives, QuikSave, auto-targeting system, and a new intelligent cinematic camera.

As noticed before here on BagoGames, Microids (along with Moulinsart) are also developing a new action-adventure game. The game is going to be based on the comic book series “The Adventures of Tintin”. However, no release date or additional details were revealed.

Microids’ best selling games are, at the moment, Blacksad: Under the Skin, the Syberia series, and the Asterix and Obelix XXL series.
