Tomorrow, the much anticipated Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty launches on PlayStation 4. The teams at Just Add Water and Oddworld Inhabitants have taken the time to create a new game shaped around the story of the classic Abe’s Oddysee. Players will soon be getting their hands on the first new Oddworld game in close to ten years.
Players who sign up for this new installment will guide Abe as he tries his best to not only save himself but also the fate of his fellow Mudokons. Molluck the Glukkon will do whatever it takes to inject “new life” into his meatpacking business and it just so happens that Abe and his kind are next up on the menu. Players will go on a wild ride in this action-platformer inspired by the classic PSOne platformer.
No game release can be complete without a launch trailer so the folks at Oddworld Inhabitants launched a trailer today which showcases intense gameplay, suspenseful action, and over-the-top superpowers.
Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty will be available tomorrow on the PlayStation 4 in North America and in Europe and other countries on July 23. The game retails for $29.99 on the PlayStation store.
