Originally released on XBox in 2005, bounty-hunting action-adventure Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath was digitally rereleased on the PlayStation Network in 2011 after being given a HD makeover by developer Just Add Water.
A Vita release of the HD version has been in the works for some time, but now a definite release date of December 18th has been announced on the Oddworld Inhabitants Facebook page. This date only applies to North America at the moment, however, as Sony Computer Entertainment Europe are apparently still working on approving the title.
Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath remains the most recent entry in the Oddworld series of games, which debuted on PlayStation in 1997 with Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysse.
