Square Enix has released the official trailer for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. Besides being the last entry into what is now called The Lightning Saga, Lightning Returns promises to be more action oriented and allow for freer movement when in combat. Interesting enough is that Lightning has only thirteen days to save the city of Luxerion from total destruction. Instead of trying to explain it, why not just check out the trailer below:
Pretty good looking, right? Well, not just content with showcasing a trailer Square Enix has also unleashed a fresh batch of screenshots for you to stare at. In the mean time you can wait until the game releases for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime in 2013.
