Nintendo have announced that the original Nintendo Wii console has finally passed 100 million units in global life-to-date sales, this was thanks to a fairly successful April-June quarter although the Wii U did worse than the original Wii console during this time.
The Nintendo Wii console has also contributed to more than 872 million games sold to date with Mario Kart Wii being the best selling non-bundled title selling 34.26 million copies since launch.
