Overwatch’s Tracer Is Coming To Heroes of the Storm

Tracer, from Blizzard’s upcoming Overwatch, is heading to Heroes of the Storm.

She will be arriving to Heroes of the Storm for free on April 19th for those who pre-purchase Overwatch: Origins Edition digitally. Those who will be buying the game on PS4 and Xbox One will be able to get her for free when Overwatch: Origins Edition releases. She’ll become available to purchase for every Heroes of the Storm player on April 26th. Gameplay footage of how Tracer is like in this MOBA has been shown in the trailer below.

Tracer, like her appearance in Overwatch itself, is unique. Sporting her upbeat personality and British voice, she can attack and move at the same time (which is a unique trait in Heroes of the Storm). In addition, her Heroic ability can be customized in three different ways in its upgrade tree.

She also brings her moves and weapon from Overwatch into Heroes of the Storm. She uses the chronal accelerator, which allows her to maneuver quickly around enemies, and her pulse pistols. Blizzard explain that she “zips around the Battlegrounds of the Nexus, catching enemy heroes off guard and then vanishing before they have a chance to react.” She’s fast in nature, so it makes sense that she will be a part of the assassin class in Heroes of the Storm.

Overwatch is an upcoming hero-based first person shooter by Blizzard with 21 characters at your disposal. The open beta on PC, PS4, and Xbox One starts on May 5th for everyone who wants to try the game out. Those who preorder can start gaining access to it on May 3rd. The beta ends on May 9th.

Overwatch: Origins Edition will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 24th, 2016.
