Starting April 4, Funimation will begin streaming Owari no Seraph or Seraph of the End. The series’ manga is by Daisuke Furuya (manga creator), Yamato Yamamoto (manga artist) and novielst Takaya Kagami who wrote The Legend of Legendar Heroes, and A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives.
In the story, a mysterious virus is killing all the adults of the human race and only children are left. Unfortuatly these children become the slaves of non other than vampires. Yet the protagonist of this dark tale, Yuichiro Hyakuya has a dream, to have the strength and power to kill off the vampires forever.
According to AnimeNewsNetwork, “[t]he series will premiere on April 4 on Tokyo MX at 10 pm. The anime will run in two split cours (quarters of the year) with 12 episodes each this year: from April to June, and then from October to December”. If you are already interested in seeing if Yuichiro will be able to rise above the other human children and kill all the vampires you only have a few days to wait!
