Dreams is a creativity based game created by Media Molecule, the creators of Little Big Planet, which was announced at E3 2015 with a short, 2 minute video demonstration. The general idea of the game is that you or the community can create levels, or as the developer calls them “Dreams.” These Dream experiences can be anything you set your mind to, which is quite the interesting take they have going for them. This is a new step in creation from Little Big Planet, which was heavily controlled by community input in creating levels and sharing them online.
Maybe Dreams will go for a similar approach, although it isn’t known yet if the game will have many developer-made levels, or if it will be controlled entirely by the players. Only time will tell.
This demo/video is more of a developer diary than a gameplay demo, however, but it is interesting to hear the developer’s thoughts on the game.
