Obsidian Entertainment and Paradox Interactive have announced that part two to the White March expansion to Pillars of Eternity will be arriving in January of next year.
Directed by Josh Sawyer (director of Fallout: New Vegas) part two of the White March expansion will feature many new additions, such as Meneha the Barbarian, a new companion; as well as new quests, abilities, a new level cap, and a new Story Mode which will allow players to enjoy the rich narrative of Pillars of Eternity at a faster pace.
Pillars of Eternity was created by a team looking to recapture the nostalgia of classic RPG’s by combining key elements from some of players’ favorite experiences from games such as Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale, etc.
Pillars of Eternity also features six playable races and a host of classes to fit the player’s character whether they want to be villain or hero. And of course, it also has an equally impressive array of spells and abilities to match the players’ preferred style of combat.
All of this, combined with the game’s rich world and elements inspire by both classic and contemporary table-top fantasy games, ensure the player a unique and exciting RPG experience.
