New Patch Released for Skyrim on PC

<p>Bethesda has released details of its latest patch for the PC version of open-world RPG <em>The Elder Scrolls V&colon; Skyrim<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>As well as fixing a large amount of bugs still present in the 16-month-old game&comma; patch 1&period;9 also contains a new Legendary difficulty setting and Legendary skills&comma; with the latter effectively removing the game&&num;8217&semi;s level cap&period; The beta version of patch 1&period;9 is currently available for download via Steam&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Speaking of the patch&comma; Bethesda stated&comma; &&num;8220&semi;If you opt into the beta&comma; be sure to back up your saved games or simply be careful not to overwrite your existing saves&period; If you decide to opt out of the beta program&comma; your old saves will still work with the current release of Skyrim on Steam &lpar;v 1&period;8&rpar;&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;Initially&comma; we recommend running using the update with no user-made mods installed&comma; but the beta does provide you with an opportunity to test your creations before the update goes live for everyone&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Here are the new features included in the patch&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&ast; Legendary difficulty setting&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;&ast; Legendary Skills &&num;8211&semi; Skills of 100 can be made Legendary&period; This will reset the skill to 15&comma; return its Perks and allow the skill to affect levelling again&period;
