PAX Prime 2015 – Final Fantasy XV Active Time Report

<p>Today Square Enix hosted the <em>Final Fantasy XV<&sol;em> Active Time Report Stream at Pax Prime&period; Game Director&comma; Hajime Tabata&comma; and Marketing Manager&comma; Akio Oofuji&comma; shared a lot of info about the game&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<ul>&NewLine;<li>Release year officially confirmed for 2016&period; A major event will be held in March 2016 where the full date will be revealed&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Video shown of the following work in progress for ladder climbing&comma; enemy features&comma; movement features&comma; and combat features&period; Among this footage was combat with pistols&comma; magic&comma; and daggers&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Chocobo Ranch&comma; Altissia&comma; and Hammerhead Shop concept art was shown&period; Players will be able to explore Altissia&period; The Hammerhead shop was hinted to belong to certain known person in the series&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Time will always be flowing&comma; and the player can choose when to make camp with the party&period; The car the party will travel around with is called The Regalia&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Eidolons play an important role in the story since they created the world&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>New town&sol;outpost revealed called Khaim&period; Here&comma; a boat can be obtained that can take the party to Alcordo&period; Boat travel will be done seamlessly in the world via a sequence&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Cars will have left hand steering&period; You can drive the car yourself or you can let Ignis autodrive&period; You can take also control of the car while Ignis is driving&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>The car can run out of gasoline&period; You can push the car to a gas station to fill it up&comma; but you can also get some kind of help from people around you&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>There will be three different camera angles available while driving&colon; First Person&comma; Tail View&comma; and Scenic View&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>You can pull over&comma; get out of the car&comma; and explore wherever you want&period; But Auto-park zones exist where you can park your car or get it delivered to you for a fee as well&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Extended version of the first video shown with added footage of  environments&comma; ragdoll physics&comma; and a Malboro&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Video letter shown of Swedish developer Avalanche Studios&comma; hinting a collaboration of some kind between themselves and Square Enix&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Offical <em>Final Fantasy XV<&sol;em> Twitter accounts shared&colon; &commat;FFXVEN &lpar;English twitter&rpar; &commat;FFXVJP &lpar;Japanese Twitter&rpar;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<&sol;ul>&NewLine;<p>That&&num;8217&semi;s all Square Enix had this time&comma; but more will be announced at Tokyo Gameshow&comma; where the next Active Time Report will take place&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<div><&sol;div>&NewLine;
